Factions formed in Winter 2011.
An alternative/punk band based around the songwriting talents of guitarist & singer Sam Pitter Factions are influenced by legeondary 90’s alternative bands like Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World & Green Day.
Mixing their influences with a fresh approach to power chord punk aided by the some very inventive and harmonicly rich guitar parts from their lead guitarist Seb Bowen they love going into the studio to create a new and different sound which can still be translated to their favourite passtime – playing live shows.
They descibe their interests as:
Quoting “Anchorman” at every available opportunity, hanging out, guitar tone elitism & spending as much time in the studio as humanly/financially possible.
