As long as you are eager to learn, are motivated and enthusiastic; there is absolutely no reason why you can’t learn to play the piano fantastically at our Southampton based recording studios.
How many piano lessons will I need each week?
We recommend that beginners start off with one lesson a week if they have the time. However, we understand that might not be possible, so we will provide you with flexible schedules and available dates and times to entirely suit you and your schedule.
We offer piano lessons in either 25, 50 or 75-minute sessions. We find that these are ideal for beginners and those progressing. This is just the right amount of time to help you learn and progress at a decent pace.
How long will it take me to learn the basics of piano playing?
Under the guidance of our expert piano tutors, we believe most people should be able to get a grasp of the basics after 12 lessons.
If you can spend time at home practicing what you have learned, then there’s no reason why you can’t accelerate your proficiency. Even the most advanced pianists find they can improve their keyboard skills somewhat. As piano playing is a lifetime commitment!
Will I need to practice at home?
Ideally, you should practice and revise what you learn during your piano lessons and theory sessions, outside of our studio. We would recommend that beginners practice for half an hour a day once they have committed to learning.
Combining continual practice alongside your lessons will mean you can start to master the basics of piano playing and your continual progression, a lot faster.
